2010 Silent Auction - Invitation to Local Artists
Action-Logement / Action Housing's 6th Annual Benefit Cocktail
Tuesday, September 28, 2010, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Jean Pigott Hall, Ottawa City Hall

Objectives
- To generate revenues (50% of the funds will go to the artist and 50% will go to Action-Logement / Action Housing)
- To promote local artists
- To sensitize participants to the challenges related to housing
Selection Criterias
- Priority is given to artists who have experienced or who are currently experiencing homelessness
- On-site set up should be simple
- Art should have a homelessness and/or housing theme (an asset)
Artist's Responsabilities
- To submit art work in the selection process
- To bring art work to the meeting room on the morning of the Cocktail and recover them the same evening
- To complete all necessary forms
Action-Logement / Action Housing's Responsabilities
- To identify local artists
- To collect forms
- To meet potential artists to view their art work
- To confirm the selection of art work
- To promote the selected artists and art work through various means
- To greet artists on-site and help them set up
Deadline
- Meet the artists from June 1st to June 16th
- Presentation of works (photos) to the Organizing Committee on June 18th
- Selection of works - June 18th
