Our Mission
Action Housing is a charitable organization devoted to assisting low-income individuals and families to find and maintain safe, affordable and adequate rental housing.
Our Objectives
1. To offer direct bilingual services to a soci-economically disadvantaged
clientele in matters pertaining to housing by:
-Managing one or more centres of access to housing services
-Keeping a diverse and qualified team of workers to better serve our
clientele
-Maintaining an adequate and secure workplace
-Diversifying our funding base to render it more stable;
2. To sensitize the population to the reality of homelessness and the needs
of the inadequately housed of Ottawa;
3. To valorize partnerships with community organizations and government;
4. To plan and promote housing-related projects, in particular those
pertaining to the francophone community.
