Finding a tenant or a roommate is simple with AccessHousing.ca
For immediate release
August 19, 2010
Ottawa - Rental property owners with available housing and those in search of roommates to share rental housing can now post related notices, free of charge, on the AccessHousing.ca web site.
AccessHousing.ca is the result of a partnership between Action–Logement/Action Housing and Housing Help. These two non-profit organizations rallied together to develop a tool to enable them to easily and reliably update their database list of available affordable and adequate housing in Ottawa.
It’s much easier with ActionHousing.ca. Rental property owners fill out an on-line form directly on the web site or, if they prefer, they can do this by telephone by dialling 613-562-3316, extension 320. As soon as the rental space is no longer available, the notice is removed and the list is updated. The web site is safe and access is limited to the clients of the two organizations.
Action-Logement/Action Housing and Housing Help cater for single persons and families. In the last year, Action Logement helped over 2,300 households, which represents approximately 3,400 persons, in finding affordable and adequate housing.
It has a 90% success rate in finding housing. Housing Help, was incorporated in 1990 and was the first organization of its kind in Ontario dedicated to affordable and adequate housing.
