Our Services

Important notice
Action-Logement does not own or manage housing units. We support individuals and families in their housing search by providing guidance, resources, and personalized assistance, especially for those who may not have access to technology or need help navigating online listings. Our team helps clients explore available rental options using public platforms and connects them with community resources, housing programs, and support services. While we do not provide financial assistance or control rental prices or availability, we offer advocacy, tenant education, application support, and referrals to help clients better navigate the housing system and work toward stable housing.

We can help with

Facilitating access

Providing information on how to access emergency shelters, safe houses for the homeless or providing access for individuals fleeing domestic violence.

Counseling and support

Explaining tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities, and providing tools to help search for housing on the private market.

Intervention and prevention

Focusing on safety, health and sustainability to prevent housing instability and housing loss. We advocate for the tenant by working as an intermediary to resolve landlord-tenant issues.

Affordable housing applications

Providing assistance with the application process, including support with priority requests.

Paralegal services

In our offices, we offer a variety of brochures that explain tenancy rights in Ontario written by Community Legal Education Ontario.
